Contact Ministries

First Congregational United Church of Christ is one of the founding churches that helped form Contact Ministries in 1978, along with First United Methodist Church, Westminster Presbyterian Church, First Christian Church, and First Episcopal Church. Contact Ministries was established to help the many poor and needy in our area by helping them find supports to get them back on their feet.  Contact Ministries helps many women and children each year through its Women and Children's Shelter. 

Many of UCC's efforts help Contact Ministires.  We continually collect diapers and wipes, food and hygiene products and other items to assist needy families.
