The purpose of the A.M. Deacons is to visit members who are shut-in, ill or bereaved; contact new parents; deliver/exchange tapes of church services for those shut-ins who desire them; prepare and purchase the elements for communion; care for and display the antependia and other articles used in connection with worship services; obtain greeters for all worship services; bake cookies, package and deliver cookies to shut-ins at Christmas time.
